On Monday afternoon we found 2 kittens in the shed and 1 under the house. We decided to take 2 down to the RSPCA and keep one. The boys decided to call her Maggie (probably after Jacob's Kindy teacher!). They were around 3 weeks old and therefore Maggie had to be hand fed milk by a bottle.
We were getting familiar with having her around the house however tonight just before tea an tragic accident happened which resulted in having to put her to sleep.
We explained to the boys what happened and then buried her in the back garden.
A short time in our family,

That's so sad, you poor guys, only getting kitten love for such a short time. I hope the boys are doing as ok as can be, and remember if you need any cat companionship we are not far away :)
