Howdy

Just thought I'd say a bit of a hello and fill you in on life in BrockLand... Al's currently handing up his last assignment (Yippee!!!) and after his exam next monday will be all done for the year! Don't worry he won't be sitting round twiddling his thumbs, the list of 'Summer Jobs' is getting very long! I've included fun things like picnic and pedicure as well as the other not quite so fun things (like fixing the fence and moving the little shed) and we've crossed something off already.

Sam seems to have recovered nicely from his cold but is not sleeping through the night as beautifully as he was... Had to feed him twice last night (I did one night last week too) didn't know what had hit me! Can't expect too much I suppose... He'll be 4 months on Friday and is very much on the move now. Started rolling over on Friday and likes to kick and wriggle all over the place. He was lying on the quilt parallel to the couch with his head toward the TV, and wriggled around 180* so he could see the tv... and then a bit more too. Nothing's gonna be the same again! I don't remember Jacob wriggling that much - that's not to say he didn't, but i don't remember. Sam had a great time in his jolly jumper the other day too, and Jacob thought it was great as well!

As you'd expect Jacob has got Sam's cold but doesn't seem too bad really... We've had some good days and some bad days with him in the last week (typical 2 year old stuff i imagine). One of the biggest struggles has been going to bed at night - out of the blue it's turned into a huge battle which is not fun at all! It does seem to be settling down a bit now but he still wants us to stay in there with him a lot of the time. I'm not ready for him to not have an afternoon sleep just yet tho! It was lovely that a particularly horrid day we had was followed by a particularly angelic day - he was back to his gorgeous happy self and as he was headed out the door to Bunnings with Dad he said 'I love you mum!' Was soooo cute and makes it all worthwhile really!

We're looking forward to U2 on thursday night! It's a bit surreal really, it seems to have come around very quick but will be awesome! Sure hope the boys behave for Nanna...

Anyway much love to you all and hope to hear from you soon!
Love Heth
