What was I sick with? And why am I holding a baby?
you had measles when I was in hospital for two weeks before Heth was born .... and the baby's your little sister! Love Mum
I think Stu meant that if he was sick why is he holding a newborn maybe?? I dont know thats how I read it. I reckon that if you had it that long before she was born that you would have been safely over your contagious stage, also newborns have an immense immunity.
When Michael was born, and I got pneumonia 3 weeks after, I was told basically to stay in bed and keep him with me (as I wasnt strong enough to look after him), the chances of him catching it were so low that it posed no problem - weird hey?
